By buying, downloading or using Yarn 2 Yarn you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the software.

The €30 purchase grants one perpetual, non-exclusive license to install and use Yarn 2 Yarn on up to two personal computers (for you and one friend, family member or collaborator).

You may share pattern files (.yy) freely with anyone.

You may not: resell the software, redistribute the installer publicly, reverse-engineer it to build a competing product, or remove copyright notices.

The software is provided 'as is' — we do our best but can't guarantee it fits every possible knitting workflow.

In no event shall Desiknit be liable for indirect damages, loss of yarn, loss of time, or emotional damage caused by an unfinished sweater.

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the current one; the update date appears at the bottom.

Governed by French law. Any dispute goes first to friendly mediation via email; then to the competent French courts.

A license key is delivered by email after purchase via Lemon Squeezy.

The key activates the software on up to two devices. Reinstalling on the same machine is fine.

If you change computers, contact us and we'll help you migrate — no drama.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase, in line with EU consumer law.

Desiknit does not collect, sell, rent or share personal data. Period.

We only see your email address if you write to us, or if it's included in your Lemon Squeezy purchase receipt. We use it only to reply to you or to send your license key.

The Yarn 2 Yarn desktop app does not phone home, does not send analytics, and works fully offline. Your patterns stay on your machine.

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. Email us and we'll act within 30 days.

This website uses ZERO cookies. Not one. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no 'strictly necessary' cookies either.

We don't use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or any third-party tracker.

The small notice at the bottom of the screen is a courtesy — it stores a single value in your browser's localStorage so we don't show it again. That's not a cookie, and it never leaves your device.

Payments: Lemon Squeezy Inc. handles checkout and receipts. Their own privacy policy applies at checkout.

Downloads: the Mac build is hosted on GitHub Releases; the Windows build is hosted on our own domain.
